MEET JILL DUNN
Jill Dunn is running for State Supreme Court because she has the credentials, the experience and the qualifications to honorably serve the people of the Third Judicial District.
Jill Dunn is part of a new generation of young leaders with the skills, drive and determination to make enormous contributions to our community.
A working mother and lifelong resident of upstate New York, Dunn lives in Albany County with her husband Gerry Conway, Jr. and their two children.
She is an outstanding attorney who was recently honored as the 2009 recipient of the Capital District Women’s Bar Association Hon. Judith S. Kaye Distinguished Member Award.
The law has always been Jill Dunn’s passion:
- Whether it’s been helping to draft tough new laws to keep New York’s children safe and free from harm…
- serving on the Advisory Board of The Legal Project, which provides free legal assistance and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse…
- taking leadership roles with both our state and regional Women’s Bar Associations…
- serving on the Advisory Board of the nationally acclaimed Albany Law School Government Law Center…
- or teaching law students and mentoring new attorneys…
Jill Dunn has always had a deep and abiding respect for the law and a real passion for her chosen profession.
But she has another passion as well… and that’s a passion for her community – for our community.
Jill was raised by two wonderful and hardworking parents, Tim and Pearl Dunn, in a small upstate town called Mohawk, and she has lived in the upstate region her entire life.
Jill Dunn loves and cares deeply about our community and our state, and she and her husband Gerry are proud to be raising their family here.
Jill knows first-hand that the quality of our courts — and the quality of the justice they dispense – can have a direct impact on the quality of life in every community across our state.
When it comes to their public servants, the people of Ulster, Sullivan, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer and Schoharie Counties all share a number of common goals and expectations.
They all want — and they deserve — public officials who are qualified, dedicated and tireless.
They want — and they deserve — public officials who are honorable, principled, and who exercise sound judgment.
They want — and they deserve – public officials who will stand up for what’s right, who will uphold our laws, and who will deliver justice for our families and our communities.
They want and they deserve all of these things from their public officials — and especially from those who have been given the honor and privilege of sitting on the bench.
And this is precisely the type of public servant that Jill Dunn will be on the Supreme Court.
On Election Day, November 3rd remember to elect Jill Dunn as State Supreme Court Judge.
